Beverage Packages


Specht's Texas Catering Contract & Policies


Booking & Deposits 

  • A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is required to secure the event date. 
  • Final payment for all food is due 7 days prior to the event. 
  • Alcohol payment and additional items due day of the event. 
  • Events must be booked at least 14 days in advance to ensure proper preparation. 


Guest Count, Minimums & Rental Fees 

  • A final guest count must be provided 7 days prior to the event. 
  • Specht’s Texas employs dynamic pricing for event bookings. The required Food & Beverage (F&B) minimum varies based on demand, with higher minimums on peak days. If the client is unable to meet the required F&B minimum, a room rental fee will be assessed to make up the difference. The final F&B minimum will be communicated at the time of booking. 
  • If the actual guest count falls below the confirmed number, the client will still be charged for the guaranteed number. 


Menu Selection & Changes 

  • Menu selections must be finalized at least 10 days prior to the event. 
  • Last-minute changes may be accommodated but are subject to additional charges and availability. 


Cancellation Policy 

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event will receive a refund of any payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit. 
  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will forfeit the deposit and be responsible for 50% of the estimated total. 
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will be responsible for the full contracted amount. 


Service & Fees 

  • Any leftover food remains the property of Specht’s Texas and will not be packaged for guests to take home. 
  • A service charge of 23% will be applied to all catering packages. 
  • State Tax of 8.25% will be applied to all catering events. 
  • If an event requires additional staff, such as bartenders or station attendants, additional labor fees will apply. 

 

Alcohol Service 

  • Alcohol service must comply with Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC) regulations. 
  • Clients may choose from a consumption bar, ticketed service, or open bar, or cash bar packages. 
  • Guests consuming alcohol must be 21 years or older with valid identification. 
  • Specht’s reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest at our discretion. 


Event Timing & Set-Up 

  • Buffet service is limited to 2 hours
  • The contracted time includes set-up and breakdown
  • Any additional time required will incur an additional charge. 
  • Clients are responsible for decorations and must ensure they do not cause damage to the venue. 


Liability & Damage 

  • Specht’s is not responsible for lost or damaged personal property
  • Any damage caused by the client or guests to the venue, equipment, or catering items will be the client’s responsibility. 


Weather Policy & Force Majeure 

  • Outdoor events are subject to weather conditions. Alternative arrangements should be discussed in advance. 
  • In the case of extreme weather, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances beyond either party’s control, the event may be rescheduled without penalty.
